Hey Out There!!
So I’ve just created this blog with the idea that I’d let anyone out there who wants to know, what products on the web that I’ve gotten that I think are amazing. So I’m going to start off with one that I found just a bit ago.
So I’m living in Germany right now, doing a bit of studying abroad, and one of the things I noticed that I missed from home was the television. German television is alright, but it can’t really hold a candle to what American TV has to offer. I started getting behind on all of my favorite shows, and saw others posting the latest details on Facebook and MySpace. I felt left out, and I didn’t want to download anything illegally. So I found this great website that offers thousands of channels online. I could now get access to some of those shows that I’d been missing out on for so long. Not only that but I was able to find great movies, and made some great discoveries from channels I hadn’t even heard of before. It’s been so entertaining when I’ve got a down day here, or it’s raining. It’s also made me fairly popular with my friends from the US too, because we can get together and watch those programs we’re all missing out on.
I’m sure that when I get home I’ll still get tons of use out of it. I wouldn’t have to buy myself a satellite dish, it’s all on my computer. Plus it gives me something else that many other companies haven’t been able to offer me in the past, the chance to practice my language skills when I’m not living here in Germany anymore.
It’s also really convienent. I don’t need to search for the remote anymore, I’ve got everything I need at my fingertips. I just need my computer and the internet…and who doesn’t have that these days. I’ve loved this product from the moment I purchased it, it’s helped me feel more in the loop when I’m away from home. It’ll be just as awesome when I am home, just for the fact I won’t have to keep paying those annoying monthly bills.
